We trashed our web dashboard. Yes, you heard that right. We spent 3 months building a web dashboard which we thought users would need.
After launch, we found out:
1) The web dashboard was adding more unnecessary steps for users to get to our real product – which is talking to Assistant Bot on WhatsApp or Telegram
2) We forced users to sign up via the web dashboard before being able to text Assistant Bot
3) Users ended up signing up but getting confused, stuck and never texting our bot
Yes! We got 15 sign ups on day 1 of launch and 0 people texted our bot. Absolute zero! 😆
Now we’re removing the web dashboard and instead allowing everyone to immediately sign up by just texting our bot on WhatsApp and Telegram.
After that? You can immediately text the bot commands to create projects and tasks, assign tasks and update tasks. Just text! 🙂
